Digitized and reorganized the municipality's physical archive of building permits and land records, some dating back to the 1890s. Checked files against the existing numbering system to find gaps, then scanned and filed them. Tracked progress in an Excel inventory built with formulas, and redacted personal data on documents before release.

Worked independently from a task list. Built a browser-based PDF tool for merging scans and removing blank pages, and handed it over with documentation. Also helped colleagues with small IT issues.

Student IT Assistant

Carried out the Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrade of municipal laptops as the only student in a four-person IT team. Upgraded about five laptops a day: imaged the drive, enabled BitLocker, installed Windows 11 from USB, ran BIOS diagnostics, updated the device record in Active Directory, configured domain, name and network settings, and rolled out software with PDQ Deploy and Inventory.

Handed over new and upgraded laptops in 2–3 in-person appointments a day for staff from the town hall, library, schools, daycare and retirement home, explaining in plain language how to avoid common issues. Also gave first-line support by phone, on site and remotely (TightVNC) for printers, Outlook, licensing and hardware faults. Tracked the rollout in Excel and documented procedures and diagnostics in OneNote.
